Preview of the 2026 Beijing Auto Show: The all-new all-electric Mercedes-Benz CLA 260 L is here!

We recently spotted the all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA 260 L all-electric model at the Beijing Auto Show. This model will be launched at the Beijing Auto Show on April 24. Previously, the new car had completed its application to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It is equipped with a 60kWh battery pack, and the CLA 260 L has a pure electric range of up to 600 kilometers.

In terms of appearance, the all-new all-electric CLA 260 L is basically the same as the already launched 300 L model, without any major adjustments. The new car is still equipped with a continuous LED daytime running light assembly, and the headlights on both sides use the latest three-pointed star light source, which is highly recognizable; the front face adopts a closed grille design, with a starry sky mesh and a large Mercedes-Benz logo, which is full of refinement. The front bumper is equipped with a continuous heat dissipation opening and an upturned front lip panel, which further enhances the sporty aura.

From the side, the new car features a smooth, fastback coupe design with a distinctive personality. The front and rear fenders widen slightly beyond the body, complemented by new 18-inch wheels, emphasizing its sporty character. Camera-based sensor hardware is embedded in the front fenders, and the door panels feature protruding creases that enhance the side profile's strength. It also retains the pop-out, fully concealed door handles, balancing aesthetics and convenience. In terms of dimensions, the new car measures 4763/1836/1471mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2830mm and a curb weight of 2005 kg, ensuring a comfortable and spacious interior.

At the rear, the new car features a small ducktail spoiler on the trunk, paired with a continuous taillight assembly. The taillights on both sides adopt a circular design with a three-pointed star emblem, providing excellent visibility when illuminated. Reflectors are located on both sides of the rear bumper, and chrome trim strips are added below to further enhance the sense of refinement. It is worth mentioning that the new car also features a 101-liter front trunk space, significantly improving storage practicality.

Inside, the new car features a dual-screen setup with a fully digital instrument cluster and a central multimedia touchscreen. The passenger side area omits an entertainment screen, instead opting for a starry-sky decorative panel to create a minimalist yet sophisticated cabin atmosphere. The car also features a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, and its infotainment system runs on the MB.OS architecture, incorporating AI technology for smooth operation and a high level of intelligence.

In terms of power, according to information submitted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the new Mercedes-Benz CLA 260 L is equipped with a rear-mounted single motor with a maximum power of 165 kW, matched with a 60kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack and an electric two-speed transmission. The CLTC has a pure electric range of 600 kilometers and a top speed of 200 km/h, catering to both daily commuting and short-distance travel needs, and its overall performance is in line with the positioning of a pure electric sports sedan.
