Geely Emgrand i-HEV hybrid to launch on June 16; combined fuel consumption of 3.83L/100km.

We have learned that the Geely Emgrand i-HEV hybrid is set to launch on June 16. This new model is a hybrid vehicle capable of operating in pure electric, series-parallel hybrid, and direct-drive modes, with a combined fuel consumption of 3.83 L/100 km.

In terms of appearance, the Geely i-HEV hybrid retains the design of the gasoline version, featuring a vertical waterfall grille, upward-sweeping headlights, and chrome trim on both sides of the front bumper. In terms of dimensions, the new car measures 4815/1885/1480mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2755mm, positioning it as a compact car. The taillights continue the Geely family design style, using chrome trim to enhance the sense of luxury.

Inside, the overall design is very layered, with a striking 14.6-inch floating instrument panel. The Flyme Auto infotainment system is standard across the range, and physical buttons are retained below the central control screen. The crystal gear lever enhances the sense of refinement in the car.

In terms of power, the Geely i-HEV Smart Hybrid is equipped with a 1.5L hybrid-specific engine + 11-in-1 hybrid-specific electric drive, DHT transmission + P1/P3 motors, realizing three modes: pure electric, series hybrid, and direct drive, to cope with different modes such as low-speed start, urban driving conditions, highway driving conditions, and rapid acceleration, with a combined fuel consumption of 3.83L/100km. Based on Geely's Starwise AI Cloud Power 2.0 model, it uses AI to sense the outside temperature, humidity, altitude, and slope in real time, intelligently matching the optimal fuel and electric strategy, and intelligently switching throughout the process, which can improve the overall fuel efficiency of the vehicle by more than 10%.
