Toyota has recently released official images of the new Sienta—a compact MPV—and launched it in overseas markets. As a refreshed model, it retains its positioning as a practical vehicle for urban families with multiple children; it features a compact footprint, dual power-sliding doors, and flexible 5- or 7-seat configurations. Improvements have also been made to practicality, safety features, and overall user convenience. The lineup offers both gasoline and hybrid powertrains, with options for either 2WD or E-Four electronic all-wheel drive. The model range continues to feature the standard X, G, and Z trim levels, while the hybrid Z trim adds an exclusive, fully customized "JUNO" edition—based on the 5-seat hybrid Z—which boasts unique interior and exterior styling packages.

Minor exterior adjustments include tweaked color accents on the front grille inserts and refined blacked-out trim within the taillights. High-end models feature added black trim packages for the lower door sections and side mirror caps, along with new two-tone body color options. Blacked-out packages are also available as options for the wheel lug nuts and window trim, aligning the styling with the "Nightshade" special edition.

Regarding the emergency power supply system, the new Sienta comes standard across the lineup with a factory-installed 100V/1500W external power outlet located on the right side of the cargo area. Paired with the emergency power system and an external power adapter, it can directly power small appliances and in-vehicle equipment during outdoor camping trips or power outages, significantly enhancing the vehicle's versatility for home-oriented use.

Refinements to the interior and safety features include retaining the existing 5-seat and 7-seat cabin configurations while upgrading the anti-slip liners in the interior storage compartments. The logic of the Toyota Safety Sense system has been fine-tuned, enhancing the sensitivity of low-speed collision prevention and nighttime pedestrian detection. Additionally, mid-to-high-end models feature improved image quality for the panoramic view monitor, and the entry threshold for optional packages—such as blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert—has been lowered.

For the G and Z trim levels equipped with the E-Four electronic all-wheel-drive system, a "cold-weather package" has been made standard equipment. This upgrade optimizes hardware related to cold-weather starting, window defogging, and cabin heating to meet the driving needs of users in the snowy regions of northern Japan; it is also the primary reason why the price increase for the AWD version in this facelift is slightly higher than that of the 2WD version.

The powertrain hardware remains unchanged, retaining the two existing configurations. The 1.5L naturally aspirated three-cylinder gasoline version is paired with a CVT and offered exclusively with front-wheel drive; with a WLTC combined fuel economy of approximately 18.3 km/L and a lower entry-level price, it is well-suited for daily short-distance commuting. The 1.5L hybrid (HEV) model serves as the primary volume seller, available in both front-wheel drive and E-Four electronic all-wheel drive configurations, achieving a best-in-class WLTC fuel economy of up to 27.9 km/L. The all-wheel-drive version features an additional independent motor on the rear axle, enhancing stability when starting on slippery or snow-covered roads—making it an ideal choice for families living in regions with frequent rain or snow.
