BMW has officially released the latest spy photos of the new M350 xDrive, confirming that it will be equipped with a B58 3.0T inline-six turbocharged engine paired with a 48V electric motor, producing a maximum power of 443 horsepower (326kW). It will be equipped with an all-wheel-drive system and will unlock Drift Moment via OTA in 2027, converting it to a pure rear-wheel-drive mode. The new car is expected to be officially released as early as the end of this year.

Looking back at the new car, its exterior design basically continues BMW's new Neue Klasse next-generation design language. It features a large air intake in the lower bumper to meet the cooling needs of the power system, as well as large wheels, large brake calipers, and a dual exhaust system with four outlets on each side.

In terms of power, it will be equipped with a B58 3.0T inline-six turbocharged engine paired with a 48V electric motor, delivering a maximum power of 443 horsepower (326kW) and a peak torque of 580 Nm. It will be matched with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system, achieving a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 250km/h. Notably, Drift Moment can be activated with a single touch via the central control screen. The M-specific control program then adjusts the multi-plate clutch and disables DSC, ensuring power is fully transferred to the rear wheels. We will continue to follow up and report on more information about the new car.
