BMW has officially released the exclusive M Performance Parts (MPP) suite for the new 7 Series (G70 LCI). Available as an option for internal combustion, plug-in hybrid, and all-electric versions of the 7 Series, this collection shifts away from the previous focus on large-scale aerodynamic body kits; instead, it emphasizes subtle detailing that balances the vehicle's flagship luxury status with its M-inspired sporty character.

Among the components in this newly released kit, the M Performance aramid exterior mirror caps stand out. While their woven texture closely resembles carbon fiber, they feature the striking BMW M tri-color stripes—a design BMW calls "Seehaus stripes."

The name "Seehaus" is linked to a piece of BMW history: Wolfgang Seehaus was one of the BMW designers who helped shape the visual identity of BMW Motorsport in its early days. In the early 1970s, as BMW Motorsport began establishing its own visual brand identity, Jochen Neerpasch—then head of the racing division—collaborated with Wolfgang Seehaus and designer Manfred Rennen to create the blue, violet, and red color scheme. This palette eventually evolved into the iconic three-color logo used by BMW M today.

The new 7 Series also offers an M Performance aramid antenna cover. At first glance, it looks much like BMW's typical carbon fiber accessories, but the choice of aramid over carbon fiber is driven by practical engineering considerations. Aramid is a fiber composite material that, unlike carbon fiber, allows electromagnetic waves to pass through; consequently, using it for the roof antenna cover does not interfere with the antenna's operation. BMW states that installing this aramid cover ensures 100% antenna functionality is maintained.

In addition to visible exterior modifications, the all-new 7 Series offers an optional M Performance key case. The case features a combination of Alcantara and carbon-fiber-textured leather, accented by an embossed M logo and M-colored decorative stitching; a leather loop at the bottom allows for direct attachment to a keyring. Overall, it is positioned as an accessory designed to enhance both visual appeal and tactile feel.

What truly transforms the visual impact of the vehicle are the two sets of M Performance forged wheels BMW has prepared for the new 7 Series: the 20-inch Y-spoke 911M wheels, featuring a matte black finish and available as a complete summer wheel set; and the 22-inch Y-spoke 1134M bi-color wheels, which combine a matte black base with a machined bright finish. Both sets belong to the M Performance forged wheel lineup. BMW emphasizes that, in addition to carrying forward the design language of M models, these wheels offer the advantages of reduced weight and superior torsional rigidity.
In terms of positioning, MPP components are official BMW factory-approved accessories; all parts have undergone vehicle-level compatibility testing and require no modifications to the vehicle's body structure. Customers can select them as factory options or have them installed later by authorized dealers. They are compatible with all powertrain variants of the G70-generation 7 Series, including internal combustion models, the M760e plug-in hybrid, and the all-electric i7.
