Nissan has officially released images of the Pathfinder 40th Anniversary Edition. The vehicle features detailed exterior and interior upgrades, serving as a tribute to the original Pathfinder, which debuted in 1987. It is reported that the model will arrive at North American dealerships in November, alongside the 2027 Pathfinder lineup.

Taking a look at the new model, the most notable change in the Nissan Pathfinder 40th Anniversary Edition is its black-and-red interior color scheme—a tribute to the burgundy seats found in the original Pathfinder. The exterior also incorporates various red accents, appearing on the front grille, rear badging, and the C-pillar emblem. In terms of features, the vehicle comes equipped with 20-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, rear-window sunshades, and a 12-speaker BOSE sound system, among other amenities.

In terms of powertrain, the new vehicle continues to be equipped with a 3.5L V6 engine, delivering a maximum output of 288 horsepower and a peak torque of 351 Nm. It is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and features a full-time all-wheel-drive system. Mid-to-low trim levels offer a towing capacity of 3,500 pounds, while higher-end trims see this figure increased to 6,000 pounds.
