Official images of the Bovensiepen Spider have recently been released. Based on the BMW Z4, this model is entirely hand-built and limited to a global production run of just 99 units. It will be powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six engine delivering a maximum output of 435 horsepower, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds. Deliveries of the first batch of vehicles are expected to begin by the end of the first quarter of 2027.

The Bovensiepen Spider is based on the BMW Z4 but features refined design details. It sports a high-gloss black front diffuser, while large front wheel arch vents, side skirts, and a rear diffuser combine to create a distinctive, premium aesthetic.

The rear spoiler of the Bovensiepen Spider has been reshaped and is wider than that of the standard BMW Z4, a design choice that enhances high-speed stability. The vehicle rides on 20-inch forged multi-spoke wheels; their lightweight construction helps reduce unsprung mass, thereby improving the suspension system's responsiveness.

The new vehicle will be equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires—sized 255/35 ZR20 at the front and 295/30 ZR20 at the rear—striking a balance between superior grip and excellent wet-weather performance. The suspension system has been retuned with increased damper travel and the addition of longer helper springs on the rear axle to further enhance handling. The front braking system features four-piston fixed calipers and cross-drilled discs for improved heat dissipation, with a front disc diameter of 395 mm and a rear disc diameter of 345 mm.

The Bovensiepen Spider is limited to 99 units and offers five exclusive metallic paint finishes: Sapphire Black (40 units), San Remo Green (25 units), Skyscraper Grey (20 units), Thunder Night (9 units), and Arctic Grey II (5 units). All models come standard with a black Vernasca/Alcantara interior, while the Sapphire Black and San Remo Green versions also offer an optional "Cognac" Vernasca/Alcantara interior.

In terms of powertrain, the Bovensiepen Spider is equipped with an inline-six twin-turbocharged engine, delivering a maximum output of 435 hp and a peak torque of 580 Nm. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and has a standard top speed of 260 km/h; with the optional performance package, the top speed increases to 295 km/h. This performance package includes a rear differential with larger cooling fins to reduce thermal load and support higher speeds, while a V-shaped chassis reinforcement structure enhances torsional rigidity, resulting in sharper steering response. The engine is paired with a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission featuring steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters, enabling gear changes in just 0.1 seconds in SPORT mode.
